Russian Sage PEEK-A-BLUE
If you love Russian sage but don’t like the way large plants flop over, try PEEK-A-BLUE, a shorter version that grows just over 2 feet tall. The lacy, silvery leaves look lovely with the lavender blue flowers. PEEK-A-BLUE blooms from midsummer into early fall. The flowers add airy-cool color to beds and borders — and also attract hummingbirds. Deer aren’t interested. It’s a great choice for urban or small-space gardens.
